The Shadows of Mordor este un joc de aventură text bazat pe două turnuri dezvoltate de Beam Software pentru multiple platforme. În Shadows of Mordor jucătorul poate alege fie Samwise, fie Frodo ca personaj. Există momente diferite de-a lungul jocului care vor avea un grafic pentru a merge împreună cu scena.
